Colonnelli Brothers, Inc. was established in 1986 by brothers Angelo, Umberto along with Frank and Nino who had recently graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

The company initially focused on paving and utility infrastructure. Eventually the focus shifted to bridge construction, rehabilitation and other heavy construction projects which is now the majority of CBI´s scope of work. In 1993 the company purchased and moved into the current location in Hackensack which was the former home of the RA Hamilton Corporation, where the four partners had previously been employed.

 

Since 2011 Nino has become the sole owner and president of the firm. CBI continues to follow the path that the founders had envisioned, in addition to creating a technically savy firm that can easily adapt to the clients needs.
